Skeletal System
System interactions:
The skeletal system interacts with the nervous system by protecting the brain with the skull and the vertebrate protects the spinal cord from injury. The skeletal system also interacts with the the circulatory system, because the bone marrow produces red/white blood cells. Another system the skeletal system interacts with is the muscular system, because muscle connects to the bone by cartilage and that allows movement of the body.
System Diseases:
Osteoporosis is a disease resulting in the loss of bone tissue.
Scoliosis is a side-to-side curve of the spine.
Leukemia is a kind of cancer in which abnormal white blood cells multiply in an uncontrolled manner. they interfere with the production of normal white blood cells. Leukemia affects the production of red blood cells.
Homeostasis:
The skeletal system remain homeostasis by providing proper calcium levels in blood.
